This weekend’s ‘Finds Special’ is all about sofas. Homegirl London finds the Elgar Sofa. The designer, Alison Cork has taken inspiration from a 1920s piece to create her sleek and sophisticated armless version which would certainly look gorgeous in the living room or bedroom. The enveloping shape and foam cushioning make this a comfy and relaxing seat. The fabric is a mix of 60% cotton and 40% linen in shale grey. The bespoke curved legs add the finishing touch. It’s handmade in Britain by skilled crafts people. The measurements are 77cm high, 180cm wide, 87cm in depth and the seat height is 41cm. The price is very good at £649 and you can buy from Made.com. Made.com is an online retailer with a great range of furniture and home accessories which are very competitively priced and so much cheaper than the highstreet.
