Finds: knot chair

Homegirl London finds the Knot Chair.  This seat fuses classic with contemporary and Japanese simplicity with Danish tradition.  The structural components are tied together with natural paper cord for an interesting twist on an otherwise simple design which is made from Ash wood.  It’s ascetically pleasing and also provides a very comfy sit.  This concept is by Japanese designer Tatsuo Kuroda for Normann Copenhagen.  Tatsuo has a Japanese background but has always been inspired by traditional Scandinavian design – hence this creation.  This piece would look delightful around your dining table and comes in 3 colours; White, Black, Black and Nature.  The measurements are 72cm high, 60.5 length and 52.5cm in depth.  The price is £296 and you can buy from Bodie and Fou – the online retailer selling a very cool range of furniture, home accessories, fashion and gifts.  Credits: text by Homegirl London, images courtesy of Bodie & Fou.
