I remembered that there was a pedestrian restaurant location at Broadgate, near Liverpool Street Station in London. We eventually found Broadgate Circle, and I spotted Beany Green on the upper level with outside seating. This restaurant specialises in Australian style brunch plates along with lunches and dinner at some of its other branches. If you’re looking for the best brunch near Broadgate, places for breakfast near Liverpool Street or Aussie food in London, you’ll enjoy the laid-back ambience and the beautifully presented food at Beany Green.
“For Australian style healthy and pretty brunch plates, Beany Green is the place. Tuck into a taste of Aussie sunshine while relaxing on a balcony overlooking Broadgate Circle,” Homegirl London
Beany Green Broadgate Brunch Menu
There is also a lunch menu, and some branches serve dinner. However, I’d recommend visiting for a lazy brunch to discover the sunshine taste of Melbourne and Sydney. Check out the Bottomless Brunch offer if you want free-flowing fizz and mimosas.
We shared the Healthy Start, a super tasty and impressive plate brimming with chilli and maple celeriac toast, avocado, poached eggs, broccoli, spinach and grilled tomatoes. It was awesome!
The Sweet Corn Fritters were excellent too. They came with smashed avocado, poached eggs, red pepper, habanero and almond sauce, feta and a sweetcorn rib. Other savoury options included Smashed Avocado, Shakshuka, Roasted Portobello Mushrooms, Smoked Salmon Royale, Fancy Bacon Roll and The Bondi (fry up).
Although the brunch plates were filling, we felt compelled to try one of the sweet options. After a bit of dithering and feedback from our friendly server, we finally settled on the banana bread sandwich with whipped mascarpone, fresh berries, and flaked almonds between two pieces of warm banana bread. Next time we will try the Peach Melba Coconut Toast with torched peach, coconut yoghurt, freeze-dried raspberries and toasted coconut flakes. Prices range from £9.40 to-15.40 per brunch dish.
I treated myself to a Green Detox Juice with cold-pressed apple, cucumber, spinach, mango, lime and ginger. Other drink options include teas, coffee, mimosas and bloody Mary’s.
