This information is current as of 27 December 2020.

Blog Audience

Google Analytics suggests my audience is about 75% female and 25%, male. The age group is predominately 25-35 years, then 35-44 years and 45-54 followed by either the 18-24 years or the65+ ages groups.

Most of the audience is UK based (just under half); the USA and European countries usually follow this.

I update the audience information at the end of each month, which you can find on my Contact Page.

I write content for adults in general. I do not include content aimed specifically at seniors, mums, pregnant women, babies, children, teenagers or pet owners.

General Information About Blog Content

All content is written by the Blog Owner, Publisher and Editor Homegirl London (Tanya Lake) in good faith about products I like the look or sound of. This doesn’t mean that I have actually tried or tested these products so you should carry out your own research and read reviews so that you can make an informed decision before buying a product or service. If I have tried a product or service, I will reference this in the article and write about my opinion and experience. However, everyone has a different opinion and experience of a product or service, so always read reviews from different sources to get a balanced view.

If you are interested in a product, you should check the current purchase price and any delivery charges via the retailer’s website. I list the price at the time of writing which may change before or after publishing. If I notice it is a sale price I will note this. Once a post has been released, I do not go back to update prices or information which could be different.

I recommend that you also note each blog post’s date, which can be found at the top of the article because some information may be out of date if the post is old.

Blog Content Covered

I write about homes, interiors, furniture, home accessories, home decor and garden furniture. I also cover London restaurants (and take-away food), London shops, London tourist attractions and London walks. I write about beauty products and fashion accessories.

Products must be available to buy online from a professional website and not in-store exclusives or in the process of being crowdfunded.

Blog Content Not Covered

I tend to not write about the following topics but would consider an individual basis should you wish to pay for a Sponsored Post.

Politics, banking, financial, insurance, motoring, computer games, apps (unless of interest), gambling, cleaning products, fitness, sport, health, sex, sex aids, celebrities, dieting, medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, dentistry, vitamins, tobacco, vapes, meat, fish, alcohol, firearms (yes, someone has asked!), vouchers, coupons, discounts, sales, competitions, give-away offers, awards, surveys, brand campaigns, pop-up shops, exhibitions, events, gallery openings, info-graphics.

Photographs

The photographs used on my blog come from several sources. Some are photographs taken by me (usually in the Eats and Visits categories). Others come from websites that I have affiliate partnerships with at the time of writing the article. Other images are from resources such as Press Loft or sent to me by a press representative. I credit the image source at the bottom of the article, and the brand name will be in the article if I can locate it easily from the website at the time of writing. On occasions I may not do this correctly so please excuse this. If for any reason you are unhappy with Homegirl London using images or wish me to credit differently, please contact me and I will try to rectify the situation. Please bear in mind that I am one person doing all the work on this blog so it may take me a little while, but all best efforts will be made.
