LALÏ Café on Bruton Place, Mayfair W1, brings a little sunshine to the neighbourhood with a beach-inspired menu and laid-back charm. The food is beautifully presented and made with quality ingredients. Picture a French Fig and Honey Cream Cheese Bagel, a Lobster Brioche Roll, or a satisfying Shakshuka. Add a muted, bohemian interior, and you’ve got a perfect place. If you’re looking for the best brunch spots in Mayfair or a casual lunch in W1, you’ll be smitten by LALÏ Café.

Lovely LALÏ Café Brunch Menu
The menu is a dream line-up of all your brunch favourites. Egg plates range from the Truffle and Cheese Omelette to the Truffle Turkey Royale (yes, there’s a lot of truffles going on), Turkish Eggs, or a Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg Bagel. I wanted to try something different, so I chose the Harissa Scramble tucked inside a buttery croissant with feta and toasted pumpkin seeds. It was a delicious mix of heat and creaminess, and I loved every bite.
If you’re not in the mood for eggs, try something tasty on sourdough toast. Toppings like truffled mushrooms, avocado or kimchi feature thoughtful finishing touches that elevate the flavours.
Those with a sweet tooth can go for the Buttermilk Pancakes with hazelnut chocolate praline. On another visit, I had the Buckwheat Pancakes with coconut chocolate, berry compote and pistachios. Light but indulgent, they were delish. I also liked the sound of the Chia Pots, especially the Tiramisu version, which I’ll go back for another time.
Drinks include juices, teas, coffees and speciality lattes like Beetroot Rose. I tried the Iced Pistachio and Coconut Water Matcha, which was light, refreshing and a little unusual. I’m not sure I liked it, but I appreciate the creativity.
Helpful Information About LALÏ Café Mayfair
You’ll love the natural, calming interior with muted tones and dried flower arrangements. It’s a great place to relax and recharge. On both visits, I sat at the counter overlooking the picturesque mews-style street, which features converted stables housing restaurants and eateries. The setting makes this eatery a romantic setting for a cosy brunch and a cute option if you’re catching up with a couple of friends.
