Brunch At Kaffeine Great Titchfield Street London W1

Kaffeine on Great Titchfield Street, London W1, had been on my radar for a while, and I finally ticked it off my list one morning while exploring Fitzrovia. Known for its exceptional coffee and yummy brunch menu, it was so good that I returned a couple of days later. Brunch options include espresso-drizzled pancakes with mascarpone and berries, and smashed avocado on sourdough. If you’re looking for one of the best coffee spots in Fitzrovia or a great brunch café in London W1, Kaffeine is well worth a visit.

Kaffeine Coffee and Brunch Menu

Coffee is at the heart of Kaffeine, which is from Square Mile. The lattes I had on both visits were perfectly made, smooth, rich, and balanced, with that velvety texture you hope for but don’t always attain. Kaffeine rotates its guest espresso and filter options regularly, providing something intriguing for casual coffee drinkers and aficionados.

Food-wise, the brunch menu is small but thoughtful. On my first visit, I chose the fried egg brioche, a soft poppy-seed bun filled with feta, avocado, spinach, tomato, and a fried egg, finished with a generous swipe of aioli. It was rich and super tasty, one of the best breakfast baps I’ve ever tasted.

Other savoury highlights on the menu include smashed avocado on Hertfordshire sourdough with crumbled feta, pine nuts, and chilli oil, poached Cacklebean eggs with hollandaise, and sautéed wild mushrooms in a creamy garlic, thyme, and white wine sauce topped with parmesan.

On my second visit, I had pancakes with espresso syrup, mascarpone cream and fresh berries. The pancakes appeared to be precooked and heated, so they were slightly crispy outside, which I enjoyed. The espresso syrup was divine. There are also lighter options like granola with Greek yoghurt and Bircher muesli with raspberry compote. Brunch dishes cost £3.70-13.
