Milk Cafe Menu
During my first visit, I couldn’t resist trying the Young Betty Poached Egg on Sourdough. I appreciated the combination of a rich and velvety Burnt Butter Hollandaise Sauce and a side of Seasonal Greens. Elevate this dish by adding Crispy Bacon or Smoked Salmon.
Eager to experience more of Milk Cafe’s offerings, I returned and ordered the Baked Eggs with Roasted Jersey Royals, fresh Asparagus, Feta, a drizzle of Tarragon Cream and a beautiful Black Garlic Purée. Every mouthful was a delight. It was served in a skillet atop a rustic wooden board.
The Sweet Maria may tempt you with a blend of Sweetcorn Fritters, Halloumi, Avocado, tangy Kasundi and a perfectly Poached Egg. Their Convict Gloucester will satisfy your cravings with its Old Spot Pork Patty, English Muffin, Streaky Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese and Hangover Sauce. The Fish Sando is a true delight, featuring Panko-Fried Red Snapper between Shokupan Bread with Japanese Flavours.
Alternatively, you can choose the Granola with fresh Fruits and creamy Yoghurt. My sights are set on the Banana Bread, slathered with a delectable Halva Butter and Pumpkin Seed Tahini blend. Try their Pastries, Croissants and selection of tempting Cakes for a sweet treat.
Milk Cafe offers an array of refreshing beverages. From the classics like Coffee, Tea and Soft Drinks to their signature Smoothies. I opted for the Billie Smoothie in a cute milk bottle, a delightful concoction of Orange Juice, Strawberries and a hint of Ginger.
