On a quiet Monday morning, I dined solo at Sunday in Brooklyn, in the vibrant St Christopher’s Place, Marylebone. Having visited New York and Brooklyn numerous times, I’ve always adored their breakfasts, particularly with a side of potatoes, a rarity in London. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this delightful eatery, savouring my brunch, writing an article on my phone, and responding to a few emails. If you’re looking for the best brunch spots in St Christopher’s Place or an excellent breakfast near Bond Street Station, Sunday in Brooklyn is a must-visit. The official entrance is in James Street, which you’ll find just off Oxford Street.
“For an elevated American style brunch, Sunday In Brooklyn has got the vibe right, just don’t forget you’re actually in London!” Homegirl London.
Sunday In Brooklyn Brunch Menu
I made a wise choice with the comforting cheddar scramble, accompanied by golden, crispy Long Island potatoes and half an avocado topped with chilli flakes. Sourdough toast brought everything together beautifully. The dish was satisfying and bursting with excellent flavours and textures. Other egg options include the hearty egg sandwich with cheddar and gochujang mayo, shakshuka, Cilbir eggs, or the indulgent steak and eggs. Egg dishes are priced between £13.50 and £27.50.
Their legendary Sunday pancakes, hazelnut maple praline and brown butter stand out and I will return to try them. Other offerings include vibrant salads and indulgent burgers like New York roast beef. Desserts beckon with their creamy New York cheesecake and the exquisite Sunday Sundae. Salads are priced between £9.50 and £13.50, burgers with fries range from £17.50 to £18.50, and desserts cost £7 to £7.50.
Drinks range from homemade lemonade, coffee, and tea to signature cocktails such as the Sunday Bloody Mary or Sunday Espresso, ensuring a perfect pairing for every dish.
