Brunch At Wolfox Covent Garden London WC2H

I was in Covent Garden for work and found myself popping into Wolfox twice in one week. The first visit was with my partner as we fancied a hot breakfast, but we were slightly too early, so we stayed for coffee and pastries instead. A few days later, I returned, this time after 9 am, ready to try the breakfast menu properly. Wolfox is a great little find on Monmouth Street, if you’re looking for a cosy coffee spot in Covent Garden, London WC2H.

The menu is concise, offering a selection of savoury and sweet dishes that feel thoughtfully curated. I ordered the Mr Wolf omelette, bursting with mature cheddar, chestnut mushrooms, and chives. I asked for it to be cooked thoroughly, and it arrived exactly as I like it: a genuinely excellent omelette. There’s also a version with roasted ham, or you might prefer The Woodland Toast with organic sourdough topped with smashed avocado, lemon juice, and a poached egg. Add smoked salmon or mushrooms to elevate it.

For a sweeter start to the day, the indulgent French toast is topped with Chantilly cream, strawberries, blueberries, pistachios, and maple syrup. A lighter option is the seasonal yoghurt parfait layered with fruit, yoghurt, and biscuit crumble, or the overnight oat bowl with chia seeds, fruit, and granola. These dishes are priced from around £10 to £14. Alternatively, keep things sweet and simple with a pain au chocolat or pistachio croissant with coffee.

Coffee is unquestionably a strong point here, and it’s organic. I had a latte that was smooth and well-balanced, and the menu covers everything from cortado to flat white.

There’s also a selection of iced drinks, including iced coffees and flavoured matcha options like strawberry, mango, and blueberry.
