Café Pedlar Menu
On my most recent visit, I stopped by for a latte and a pain au chocolat. The coffee was smooth and rich, and the pastry was beautifully light and buttery. They also serve kouign amann, cinnamon buns, hojicha banana cake, matcha and white chocolate cookies, savoury everything twists and miso cheddar scones.
On a previous visit, I had the green pesto and mozzarella focaccia sandwich, which was delicious. The bread was soft and warm with a gentle chew, and the pesto gave it a lovely, fresh flavour. The goat’s cheese sandwich with chutney and rocket is another excellent option, creamy and tangy with a hint of sweetness from the chutney. Other choices include jambon-beurre with ham and cornichons, or a classic BLT. Toasties feature fillings such as ham and cheese, cheddar with chilli jam, and a three-cheese mix.
