Balance Cafe, Lower Marsh, London SE1, has been one of my favourite spots for Breakfast and Lunch since I moved to the area. Whenever I’m coming from Waterloo Station, it’s my go-to eatery. They have a fantastic menu with options like Full English and Vegetarian Breakfasts, plus delicious Pancakes and Cakes. Their forte is providing quick healthy lunches with their signature Salad selection and accompaniments. If you’re looking for the best Breakfast places in Lower Marsh or where to eat Lunch near Waterloo Station, you’ll love the Balance Cafe.

For Breakfast, they have a fantastic selection of Oat and Fruit bowls. Try their Organic Porridge with Mixed Berries, Pistachios, and Honey. Alternatively, go for the Homemade Granola with Greek Yoghurt and Berries. They also offer Continental options like Plain Croissants or Pain Au Chocolat if you’re in a rush.

Their Egg dishes are a must-try! The Full Balance is their take on the classic Full English, packed with Free Range Eggs, Cumberland Sausage, Bacon, and all the trimmings. They also have great alternatives for non-meat eaters, like Veg on the Edge or Vegan Fry-Up.

The cafe is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6 pm and on the weekends from 8 am to 6 pm.
