Healthy Salads From Atis Borough Yards London

Atis Borough Yards, London SE1, offers a delightful selection of healthy salads that will satisfy you. Located next to Borough Market, this branch of Atis has quickly become a favourite among local workers. They even offered a generous 50% discount during their opening celebration, which we eagerly took advantage of. You’ll love Atis Borough Yards if you’re looking for plant-based food, salads or healthy places to eat near Borough Market.

“With Salad Bowls, Grain Bowls, and the Build Your Own option, the choice is extensive, nutritious and delicious,” Homegirl London.

Atis Salad Menu

The menu at Atis features a variety of options, including Salad Bowls, Grain Bowls, and Build Your Own. One of the standout items is the Seasonal Drops, which showcases the season’s freshest ingredients. We couldn’t resist trying the Spicy Raw Thai Salad, consisting of Baby Spinach, Shredded Kale, Cabbage, Edamame, Peas, Shredded Carrot, Cucumber, Sliced Spring Onion, Coriander, Crispy Shallots, Cashew Satay Dressing, and a hint of Lime.

The Salad Bowls at Atis are expertly crafted for those who prefer a ready-made creation. These can be enjoyed as is or customised with additional proteins or toppings. We highly recommend the Azteca Salad, a Mexican-inspired delight with vibrant flavours. It features Chopped Romaine, Baby Spinach, Charred Corn, Black-Eyed Peas, Pickled Red Onions, Crumbled Feta, Sustain Yo’self Avo Smash, Tortilla Shards and Lime Coriander Dressing.

If you’re looking for something heartier, the Grain Bowls are a fantastic choice. We tried the Shroomi 2.0. It provided a filling and comforting experience with Baby Spinach, Short-Grain Brown Rice, Red Raw Slaw, Crispy Shallots, Grilled Portobello and Chestnut Mushrooms; all topped off with a flavorful Balsamic Vinaigrette. It’s the perfect option for chilly and rainy days in London.

But if you’re feeling adventurous and want to create your bowl, Atis offers many options. Start by selecting your base (Salad Leaves, Short-Grain Brown Rice, Sundried Tomato Quinoa). Then, choose from ingredients (Charred Corn, Black-Eyed Peas, Red Raw Slaw, Edamame Pea Medley, Roasted Broccoli, etc). You can elevate your creation with premium additions (White Bean Za’atar Hummus, Parmesan Crumble, etc). If you’re extra hungry, add a protein or hot topping (Miso Lime Leaf Tempeh, Blackened Chicken, etc). Don’t forget the crunch (Crispy Shallots, Smoked Almonds, etc). Finally, top it off with a dressing (Tahini, Sriracha Sauce, etc).

For those seeking something beyond Salads, the Power Pots are worth exploring. We indulged in the Seasonal Hot Tomato Butterbean Braise and were impressed. The rich Tomato Sauce enveloping the Butter Beans, accompanied by Kale, Poilane Sourdough Breadcrumbs, and Dill Yoghurt, created a truly satisfying and flavorful experience. We plan to try their other options, including Broc ‘N Roll, Best Spuddies, and Rosemary Squash with Sweet Potato.
