Most of the stock comprises of original French vintage furniture, lighting and mirrors which date from 1800 to 1970. With monthly trips to France, the stock is constantly renewed with interesting finds. To give you an idea of what to expect I’ll tell you about some of the items available. Storage wise, you might like the distressed green patina chest with three drawers and a decorative lock from 1930. The tall seven drawer mid-century modern chest on compass legs with decorative half mood handles was very handsome. Kitsch lovers will appreciate the fifties white kitchen cabinet complete with marble top.

Tables range from 1920s wooden folding tables to 1940s industrial folding tables, 1960s round wooden tables, Scandinavian options and others with Formica tops. They also stock Durance scented candles, home perfumes and beauty products. These conjure up the South of France with lavender and verbena aromas. Secret d’Apothicaire Candles are poured by hand in Normandy made from 100% natural soy wax and beeswax with delightful scents.
