I’ve had lunch twice at the charming Artist Residence Hotel, Pimlico London SW1V. I love the cosy art-inspired interiors at this eccentric boutique hotel. The food offering for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is modest but exciting, so it’s a great place to hang out with a fabulous friend or a client you actually like. If you’re looking for places to eat lunch in Pimlico or dinner in London SW1V, you may like the Artist Residence Hotel.
“Relaxed and intimate hotel eatery where you’ll rub shoulders with celebrities and discerning hotel guests as you tuck into an enjoyable lunch,” Homegirl London.
Artist Residence Hotel Pimlico Lunch Menu
We started with a couple of Small Plates. My partner couldn’t get enough of his Crispy Squid with the zingy Lime and Herb Aioli. He only left a few crumbs, which is high praise. The other Sea Food option is Hot-Smoked Salmon with Chicory, Quail Egg and Mustard Dressing.
Meanwhile, I was content with my Steamed Cauliflower on a bed of Dhal dressed with a few slices of Plantain and Pickled Apples. It sounded like a strange collection of ingredients, but they pulled it off. My other Vegan/Vegetarian options were Crottin de Chevre (Goats Cheese), Salad with Pear and Candied Walnuts or Sundried Tomato Focaccia with Balsamic Oil.
I consumed the Butternut Squash Ravioli with Chilli Butter and Pecorino on my first solo visit. I loved every mouthful, so I went back for more.
When I returned with my partner, we shared the healthy Superfood Salad with Quinoa, Kale, Chickpeas, Tenderstem, Blueberries, Spinach and Pumpkin Seeds. There’s an option to add Avocado, Grilled Halloumi or Chicken Schnitzel.
The other dish we shared was Henry’s Green Curry which is full of flavour. With Butternut Squash, Snow Peas and Pistachio, it was delectable with perfectly cooked White Rice. Also on the menu are Roasted Seabass and Bavette Steak.
To give you an idea of prices, the Small Plates are £6-12, the Large £14.50-24 and the Sides £4.50-5.50. The drinks list is again modest but covers all your options with House and Classic Cocktails, Beers, Ciders and Wines. I tried the Life’s A Peach Mocktail while my partner sipped a Strawberry Lemonade.
