We all enjoyed the fresh and vibrant tomato and za’atar fattoush salad with feta, pomegranate, and crispy bread. Other tempting small plates included whole globe artichoke, squid escabeche on toast, harissa-spiced roast beef, or the seabream and sumac crudo, priced around £14-15.

For our mains, my partner and I shared the exquisite grezzina courgette farinata with confit garlic and preserved lemon sauce, which was as beautiful as it was delicious.

The spiced chickpea stew with tahini, eggs, and burnt Urfa chilli butter was equally comforting.

Meanwhile, our friend was thrilled with his kibbeh dumplings, which were made of spiced beef semolina in a fragrant broth and accompanied by a roasted cabbage salad. The main dishes are priced between £17.50 and £24.

You can also opt for items from the deli counter, like their daily bourekas served with grated tomatoes, pickles, tahini, and a boiled egg, or a sandwich and cakes. On a previous visit, I couldn’t resist their walnut and coffee cake.

Our friend was ecstatic with his slice of decadent chocolate babka.

honey and co daily cheesecake

Fortunately, We tried the signature Honey & Co cheesecake: a cold honey and feta cheesecake with almonds and blueberries on kadaif pastry. It was so divine that we regretted not ordering two. At £10.50, it was worth every penny, and we even had a bit of a dispute over the last spoonful!

honey and co daily soft drinks

We all opted for soft drinks; the homemade lemonade was refreshing, and the seasonal rhubarb and basil shrub was also fabulous. You can celebrate your heart’s content with Cava, champagne and wines.
