Tucked away on Lamb’s Conduit Street in Bloomsbury, Honey & Co is a cosy gem that brings Middle Eastern comfort food to life in the heart of London. I was drawn to its welcoming space for a solo lunch on a dreary weekday. Seated at the window counter, I had the perfect view of the street, a quiet moment of people-watching while the restaurant buzzed with a relaxed, inviting energy. You’ll appreciate Honey & Co if you’re looking for a healthy Middle Eastern lunch in WC1 or the best restaurants on Lamb’s Conduit Street.

Honey & Co Middle Eastern Menu
I opted for the snack plate, a vibrant assortment of burek, house pickles, olives, crudités, and harissa tahini. Each bite offered a delightful contrast of flavours and textures, with their signature tahini tying everything together beautifully. The dish wasn’t just visually appealing; it tasted fresh and wholesome. Every mouthful earned murmurs of appreciation.
The seasonal ‘Winter’ menu featured a wealth of vegetarian and vegan delights, from creamy hummus with fluffy pitta to Haifa-style falafel with zesty cabbage and pomegranate slaw. Other enticing dishes included labneh with roasted butternut squash and harissa, roasted cauliflower with kale, and a poached quince salad, many generously enhanced with their smooth tahini. Heartier slow-cooked, and spiced options range from meatballs in a rich tomato sauce to fragrant sea bream tagine, lentil hotpot, and Musakhan chicken braised in pomegranate molasses and currants. With so many appealing choices, I know I’ll be returning.
