Petersham Nurseries Shop Covent Garden Restaurants
Tea and Cake
If you’re visiting from out of town, you should book lunch at one of the restaurants. There are two restaurants and a café – The Petersham, La Goccia plus The Delicatessen. The Petersham dishes up slow food using seasonal ingredients with Italian flavours. You can eat lunch, enjoy afternoon tea, dinner, Sunday lunch or a pre-theatre menu. La Goccia serves delicious Italian style small plates, some of the food is cooked in the wood-fired oven. I stopped off at The Delicatessen and treated myself to a cup of herbal tea and cute little cake. If you love Italian wine, locate The Cellar! Look out for the Floral Court where you can sit and dine alfresco away from the traffic.
