1. Explore the nearby Commons in Balham. Clapham Common features three ponds and a Victorian bandstand. The Tooting Commons consists of two adjacent areas of common land. Tooting Bec Common offers attractions like Tooting Bec Lido, and Tooting Graveney Common includes Tooting Bec Stadium. Wandsworth Common boasts woods, lakes, a heath, playgrounds, cafes, bowls, tennis courts and a trim trail.
2. Experience the delights of Balham Farmers Market. Local food producers offer a variety of products, including eggs, cheese, fruits, vegetables, honey and much more. It takes place every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm at Henry Cavendish Primary School, Hydethorpe Rd, London SW12 0JA.
3. Indulge in a delightful brunch at one of the eateries. You’ll find many options, from egg dishes and pancakes to vegan and healthy choices. Check out popular spots like Milk Cafe, Brickwood, The Apple Blue or Megan’s.
