Finds: Liberty print Nike trainers

My Finds Special this weekend is focussed on fashion.  Homegirl London finds the Black Bourton Liberty Print Nike Air Max 1 Trainers.  The original trainers were launched in 1987 which kick started a footwear revolution – they were the first trainers to feature a visible air vent.  Liberty London has teamed up with Nike to cover this iconic trainer in their psychedelic paisley Bourton fabric.  The print was first introduced as a dress fabric back in the swinging 1960s.  This trainer features the ground breaking Max Air unit in the heel which cushions and protects against impact.  It’s made from Phylon material to reduce the weight by 30%.  The foam midsoles provide cushioning and support whilst the rubber waffle outsole makes it durable.  Available in sizes 4 to 9.  The price is £120 and you can buy from Liberty London.  Credits: text by Homegirl London, images courtesy of Liberty London.
