Finds: tin box

Homegirl London finds the Iittala Taika Tin Box, which is Finnish for fantasy or magic.  This beautiful blue box features a folklore world of mythical creatures and animal hybrids living within a floral and fauna forest.  It’s perfect for storing miscellaneous items, precious memories or you could even use it as a cookie or snack container.  It costs £11.50 which I think is a really good price, something inexpensive to self-treat or buy it as a gift for a friend.  The dimensions are 28 x 18 x 13 cm and you can buy it from who specialise in home accessories and gifts from Scandinavia.  The makers, Iittala, began life as a glass factory in Finland and now make an extensive range of desirable objects.  They pride themselves in creating timeless classic pieces which will stand the test of time and never be thrown away and this box is no exception.  Credits: text by Homegirl London, images courtesy of Cloudberry Living.
