Brunch At Hally’s Parsons Green London SW6

While exploring Parsons Green, I stopped by Hally’s on New Kings Road for a solo brunch. I’d actually eaten here years ago, back when it was one of the places helping to shape London’s brunch scene. I was keen to see whether it was as good as I remembered. Thankfully, it still delivers. If you’re looking for the best brunch spots in Parsons Green, or places for breakfast along New King’s Road, Hally’s is well worth a visit.

“Hally’s was serving standout brunch long before London’s brunch boom, and it’s still one of the area’s best,” Homegirl London.

Hally’s Brunch Menu

Let’s kick off with the savoury options, which include a full breakfast with or without meat, Clarence Court eggs on sourdough, Eggs Benedict, Royale, and Florentine. Then there are Turkish poached eggs with labneh and chilli butter, a brunch burrito, smashed avocado on sourdough, and comforting homemade baked beans. I went for the spicy scramble, served on a thick slice of sourdough and piled high with softly scrambled eggs, tomato, spinach, coriander, feta, jalapeños,  and rocket with half an avocado on the side. It had just enough kick from the chilli without being too much and was a generous, satisfying brunch. Savoury dishes from £9 to £14.70 to £19.

If you’re after something healthy, you’ll find homemade pecan maple granola with Greek yoghurt and berry compote, dragon fruit smoothie bowls, and vanilla matcha chia pudding. For sweeter alternatives, there’s toasted banana bread with whipped coconut caramel. You get two pieces, so it’s quite substantial. I popped in for a second visit and consumed that dish, as the buckwheat pancakes served with lemon mascarpone, berry compote and maple syrup weren’t ready. That was a bit disappointing, but I soon forgot by the time I’d finished my banana bread! Prices range from £9 to £12.80.

The drinks menu includes artisan coffee, smoothies, fresh juices and homemade drinks. I ordered the house lemonade on my first visit and juice on the second; both were excellent.
