Arabica Restaurant Borough Meze Home Delivery

Arabica Restaurant Borough Meze Home Delivery: As you know, I love dining at London restaurants. However, due to the Coronavirus Lockdown, that pleasure has become a distant memory. I’m not a particularly good cook, but like many others, I’ve been making an effort to create tasty dishes during Lockdown. Now that restaurants are showing signs of opening, albeit mainly by supplying takeaways, I’m going to review local restaurants offering this service. A couple of weeks ago, we tried the Arabica Restaurant London Meze Home Delivery, which was a welcome change from my cooking! It was Homeboy’s birthday on Wednesday which we celebrated on Friday with a Vegan Set Menu for two.

Vegan Set Menu for Two

Arabica Restaurant Borough Meze Home Delivery Menu

Homeboy and I enjoyed dining at Arabica in Borough Market in May last year and at the stall located nearby at least once per month. I noticed they were now delivering within an eight-mile radius from the Borough location, so I gave it a try. The cuisine focusses on the food of the Levant; the lands of Eastern Mediterranean. The current delivery menu on the website offers the following:

• DIY Falafel Kit which makes five wraps, £20
• Vegan Meze Platter for one, £10
• Vegetarian Meze Platter for one, £12
• Meat Meze Platter for one, £12
• Vegan Set Menu for two, £30
• Meat Set Menu for two, £35
• Family Feast for four to five, £65

I ordered the Vegan Set Menu for two people which included: Creamy Hummus and Smoked Aubergine dips. The Beiruiti Falafels are excellent. I find that store-bought falafels are disappointing, and I was craving the ones from Arabica, which made me very happy indeed. The Vegetable Magloubeh is filling with rice, cauliflower and other delicious ingredients. I enjoyed the fresh and vibrant Fattoush Salad accompanied with a side dressing and a pot of fried flatbread pieces to scatter over the top. Additional items were a bag of Khobez Flatbreads and an array of colourful Crunchy Pickles. It was a lovely treat after eating homecooked meals for two months. There was enough food for an evening meal and lunch the next day, so it was value for money. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, which met my expectations having dined at the restaurant.

Arabica Restaurant Borough Meze Home Delivery Information

The home delivery service is available on Fridays only within an eight-mile radius of their Borough Market restaurant location. Order before 11 pm on Tuesday for your Friday delivery. You can claim free delivery for orders over £75. I paid £6 for the delivery of our meal. The kit arrived on Friday morning. The kit was well packaged. The information sheet had detailed instructions about heating the food with an allergen matrix. Please check the Arabica Website for further information as the home delivery may change when the Lockdown eases. Take a look at the online shop which sells treats ranging from Baklava and Turkish Delights. Enjoy your mezze meal; I did!
