Homegirl London’s Food Review: Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall. I was excited to visit this place with my friends who live close by. With over thirty kiosks selling a selection of Asian cuisine, you’ll have plenty to tempt your taste buds. If you’re looking for places to eat in Colindale, Asian food in London or street food in North West London you must visit the Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall.

Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall Kiosks
With over thirty kiosks you can order Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Malaysian cuisine and more. If you’re with a group of friends, get one person to grab a table while the others go off and choose their dishes from the different food hatches. You’ll be given one of those devices which buzzes when your food is ready, so you can collect it without having to queue up.
Bahn Mi
You really will be spoilt for choice here. Take your pick from ramen noodles, bibimbap, sushi, tempura, katsu curry, yakitori, bento boxes, Bahn mi, dumplings, egg tarts, bubble tea or Vietnamese iced coffee. Vendors include the likes of Royal China, Janchi Korean Kitchen, Four Seasons, and Sukaria.

I lost track of what my friends ordered because it all happened so quickly. I tried Di San Xian, which is a signature northern Chinese dish made with stir-fried potatoes, aubergine and sweet peppers served with a side of rice. I loved this dish; it was super tasty and a substantial portion for only £8.50, which I thought was great value for money.
Chinese Vegetable Curry
Homeboy and I also shared a big plate of vegetable tempura which was top notch. Homeboy treated himself to a Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box, prawn dumplings and deep-fried wantons. We were both stuffed afterwards. I can’t wait to go back again and try more!

Restaurant Interior
The foodhall is upstairs above the Golden Dragon restaurant. Take the stairs or lift, and you enter an ample space with vendor hatches around the perimeter. In the middle, you have plenty of tables and chairs. The area is clean and bright, with a family-friendly vibe. It gets hectic at the weekends and in the evenings but don’t worry because the food gets served quickly!
