Cosy Bermondsey Corner, Bermondsey Street, London SE1, is perfect for sharing Cheese and Charcuterie Boards with your partner or friends. Their compact place spills onto the street, with pavement tables and chairs occupying The White Cube Gallery grounds in the evening. You can enjoy a glass of Wine and delicious ingredients from the UK, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany and Greece. If you’re searching for Wine and Cheese in Bermondsey or places to drink Wine near London Bridge, head to Bermondsey Corner.
Bermondsey Corner Food and Drinks Menu
Indulge in a few nibbles like Salted Almonds, Mixed Olives, or the Gluten-Free Pumpkin, Sunflower and Chia Seeds Crisp Breads. I can vouch for the Crisp Breads; they were wonderful; I’d probably pop in and purchase them to take home.
For those with a heartier appetite, the menu offers delightful options like Black Olive Tapenade, Hummus, or Creamy Gorgonzola; all served with a side of Bread. Pescatarians will find satisfaction in their Tuna Pate or Small Sardines in Tomatoey Sauce, accompanied by Bread and Butter. Additionally, they offer Duck Mousse, Pate en Croute, Smoked Duck Rillettes and Mini Black Pepper or Parmesan Saucissons.
One of the highlights is the delectable Cheese Boards, artfully presented with Gherkins, Roasted Almonds and Bread. The Cheese selection is impeccable, and for expectant mothers, they provide a Pregnancy Cheese Board with pasteurised alternatives. During the winter season, their Fondue is a tempting option. Meat lovers will relish the Charcuterie Board, and if you can’t decide, the Mixed Cheese and Charcuterie options offer the best of both worlds.
Choose your favourite drinks from various Spirits, Cocktails, Hiver Beer on Tap, Sassy Cider and a diverse range of Wines. I enjoyed my refreshing Gin and Tonic, cheers!
Unfortunately, they don’t offer Desserts, but we did try a pack of their Biscuit Town, the Pistachio variety. They’ve partnered with local bakery Comptoir Gourmand to create Biscuit Town, which harks back to when Bermondsey was famous for producing biscuits.
You can also pick up delightful foodie treats in-store or deliver them directly to your door. Try Camembert from Normandy, Basque Chorizo, Venison Terrine, Tinned Mackerel Fillets or Borage Honey. The selection also includes Wine and Champagne should you wish to celebrate.
