While exploring the area, I had a delicious breakfast three times at Ginger and White, Perrin’s Walk, Hampstead, London NW3. If you’re looking for places to eat breakfast in Hampstead, the best cafes in Perrin’s Walk or NW3, you’ll love Ginger and White. It’s a lovely local Cafe with simple yet delicious food served quickly. Everything is made to your instructions; for example, they ask about your milk preferences and even if you want your Avocado sliced or smashed! That’s what I call excellent service!
“You’ll find Ginger and White tucked down a picturesque pedestrian street in Hampstead; it’s a buzzy Cafe serving simple food and artisan coffee with a friendly smile,” Homegirl London.
Ginger and White Breakfast Menu
Ginger and White take care when sourcing their ingredients, so you can rest assured that the Eggs are Free-Range from British farmers, the Flour Station bakes the Bread, and the beautiful Cakes are made in-house.
All-day breakfast includes Soft Boiled Egg with Soldiers and Shakshuka. Try the Scrambled, Poached or Fried Eggs with Chives on Sourdough Toast. Pimp it up with a Side of Spinach, Avocado, Tomato, Mushrooms, Roast Potatoes, Goats Cheese, Halloumi, Chorizo, Chicken Sausage or Turkey Bacon. I kept things simple with Scrambled Eggs and Avocado on Sourdough, which was excellent.
If Eggs aren’t your thing, maybe you’ll like homemade Beans on Toast with Haricot Beans, Red Peppers and Onions in Tomato Sauce. Smoked Salmon Sourdough Bagel with Cream Cheese and Pickle or Toasted Ham and Cheese Croissant are perfect if you want something quick.
Healthy breakfast options are Porridge with Bananas or Roasted Apple with Cinnamon, Dried Cranberries, Toasted Pecans and Honey which I can vouch for. Gluten-Free Oats, Vegan Syrup and Dairy-Free Milk can be substituted. Or you may prefer Granola with Berry Compote, Fresh Fruit and Greek Yoghurt. The Açai Bowl with Fresh Fruit, Coconut Flakes and Granola sounded yummy.
On my return at the weekend to visit Fenton House, I choose French Toast with Banana and Maple Syrup from the Specials. Wow, it was excellent and put me in a happy mood. Other Specials were Shak Sausage, a variation of their Shakshuka with Chicken Sausages, Matzah Brei, Savoury Matzah and Sweet Matzah.
To give you an idea of prices, Breakfast Plates are £3.75-10.95. Drinks include Coffee/Iced Coffee (Square Mile Coffee Roasters) with all the usual variations, plus Ristretto, Cortado and Piccolo for the connoisseurs. Other hot beverages include Ginger and White House Tea Blends. Or you may prefer Fresh Juices, Power and Protein Shakes.
For lunch, you can try Soups, Salads, and Sandwiches. If you’re visiting in the afternoon, treat yourself to one of the Cakes ranging from Banana Loaf to Vanilla Cup Cakes. These are baked in-house using the best ingredients, such as Free Range Eggs, British Butter and Madagascan Vanilla Extract.
