Flea Market Snoop: Flea Vintage and Makers Market. I popped along to the first Flea Vintage and Makers Market at Vinegar Yard, St Thomas Street, London SE1. If you love flea markets which have been curated to weed out the rubbish, you’ll appreciate this place. The stalls are housed inside shipping containers on a plot of land opposite London Bridge Station, where you will also find food trucks and a bar.

If you love vintage fashion, you’re in for a treat. You can pick up a cute little sporty cropped top. Men’s and women’s brown leather coats were spotted. Pretty floral dresses and tartan skirts were waiting for a buyer to snap them up. I noticed a shipping container which was being used as a changing room, so you can try it before you buy, which is super helpful.
Vintage Fashion
Jewellery and fashion accessories included pieces from vintage sellers alongside independent jewellery designers. Expect to find watches, necklaces, earrings, broaches and sunglasses.
Jewellery
A few gift ideas for birthdays included vintage and designer-made posters, prints and greeting cards. The candles in vintage cups were cute. I noticed a few throws and adorable home accessories from the Nordic brand called Bloomingville. Shoulder bags and colourful scarves were hanging up, looking pretty.
Bags and Scarves
Vintage items included old-fashioned typewriters and plastic pub crates. There were plenty of glass vases and ceramic pots. Decorate your home with a few vintage green glass apothecary bottles. Pick up a retro record player and a Sinatra LP for your turntable.
Typewriters and LPs
Furnish your home with industrial enamel light shades and red desk lamps. Battered storage trunks were ready and waiting to be used as a coffee table. There were plenty of industrial, vintage and distressed decorative objects to style your space.
