West Norwood Feast Highlights
The Food Fair at St Luke’s Church Gardens is a must-visit for lunch. From delectable international dishes to passionate food traders, every bite tells a story. We sampled a Cajun Halloumi Bao Bun at the Bao and BBQ Shack, which was super tasty. Equally tempting are their Chicken, Pork, or Vegan BBQ selections.
The Mandala stall, specialising in Himalayan delicacies, served us a plate of six perfect Vegan Dumplings.
If your palette craves more, explore dishes like African Jollof Rice from Deuce, British-infused Indian delights at Luck Now 2 London, Souvlaki Street’s Greek Wraps, or Route 66’s Burritos. Don’t forget to end on a sweet note at the cake stalls!
Head to Fresh’ n Green beside the West Norwood Library and Picturehouse for more foodie treats. Prioritising quality and freshness, this space offers everything from meats, fruits and veggies to cheeses and bread, all sourced as locally as possible.
Locate the Artisans Market on Chatsworth Way. You’ll find the Tea and Talk Table at the entrance, a heartwarming initiative inviting seniors for complimentary tea and engaging conversations with volunteers.
Art lovers and craft enthusiasts will find their haven at this curated market boasting art, ceramics, accessories, clothing and more. Our personal favourites included sketches of local buildings by Ana Gallego. We couldn’t resist picking up a cute T-shirt from Oni Kin for our niece.
At Village Green, situated outside the Leisure Centre and Peregrine Park, the area epitomises sustainability and community bonding. You’ll discover an eclectic mix of products, from vintage retro items to handcrafted candles.
