Lupins Home Dining Vegetarian Set Menu Review: During the Coronavirus Pandemic, we’ve been cooking at home like everyone else. I’ve tried my best to make the meals as tasty as possible, and I thought that I’d done a pretty good job until I tried the food at Lupins. On Friday, we felt it was time for a treat, so we ordered the Lupins Home Dining Vegetarian Set Menu. Wow, what a treat it turned out to be because it was delicious. It made me remember just how good restaurant food is. If you’re looking for quality London restaurant takeaway food, you’ll love Lupins.

Lupins Home Dining Vegetarian Set Menu Review
The menus will change weekly. We sampled The Lupins Vegetarian Set Menu for two people last Friday. The kit includes a little pot of Gordal Olives. These are large green olives from Spain which are full of flavour. You can pop a few into your mouth while you unpack the bag of goodies.

The two mini Rosemary Focaccia Breads were cute and delightful after we warmed them up and smeared with the Brown Butter supplied.

I couldn’t get enough of the creamy Burrata with Asparagus and Mint Gremolata. I warmed up the Asparagus in the oven for a few minutes and assembled it on the plate. It tasted fresh and looked vibrant.

We enjoyed the Gnocchi with Artichoke Barigoule. It didn’t take long to warm through; it took even less time to consume!

The Market Lettuce with Fresh Broad Beans was sizable, fresh and fabulous. The little pot of Ranch Dressing and slithers of Pecorino can be added if desired.

We went a bit overboard and added the New Potatoes with Watercress Tahini and Seed Dukkah. It would have been too much to consume for the evening meal, but we started eating in the afternoon.

Who could resist the desserts? We thoroughly enjoyed the London Honey Roast Peaches and Ricotta Cheesecake along with the Chocolate Ganache and Salted Caramel with Sesame. The Chocolate Ganache was rich and decadent. It was nice to share the pot rather than eat an entire one.

I looked at the menu for this week which sounds wonderful – Warm Salad of Courgette and Artichoke Pesto, Whipped Goats Curd with Roasted Beetroot and Cherries and Gnocchi with Heritage Tomato Antiboise Sauce for £35. There is a similar menu for meat-eaters for £45. Check the list of extras and don’t forget the desserts which are £5 each! You can add a bottle of red or white wine to your order. Other drinks include Living Citrus Kombucha and Genie Living Lemon and Ginger Soda.
