Meet The New HP Tango Smart Home Printer

Well done HP for reinventing the home printer. I have an old HP model and this new Tango isn’t just an upgrade, it’s something entirely different. Standard printers are chunky, dull and office-like, whereas this new product is designed to fit in with today’s smart home and your smart phone! All you have to do is download the app which communicates with Tango.

Tango comes packaged in a soft material case with a little pull tag. It opens up to reveal a sleek and minimal designed printer. Because everything is operated via the smart phone, it means that the printer can be kept clean, streamlined and unfussy.

The HP Tango is a sleep, fully app-based printer which has a seamless set up and cloud-based connectivity. This means that you can print, scan and copy from anywhere in your home or the world … just as long as you use cellular data or a remote WIFI connection. It also works via voice activation, so you don’t even have to click your mouse. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite work via telepathy yet!

If you forget to buy ink for your printer, well then you don’t need to worry about that any more. The HP Smart App tells Tango to order your HP Instant Ink before you actually run out. If you want to print photographs, you can do this for free from your smartphone when you enrol Tango in HP Instant Ink. You also get notified when your print job has finished and when the paper level is low.

Interior Blogger, Kate Watson-Smyth, was giving a talk on the ‘Eye Love Tango Pod’ today and she made a valid point. Homes are getting smaller across Europe and living rooms (according to a study) are a third smaller than in the 1970s, so it makes sense that tech gadgets are becoming more compact. The HP Tango is fabulous as well as functional and is perfect for modern living. It will fit in effortlessly into any interior design scheme. Place it in your dining room, living room or bedroom, where ever you want and start getting creative!

New HP Sprocket Plus

HP Tango and HP Sprocket Plus

I also found out about a cute and clever little printer at the launch event. The new HP Sprocket Plus is great for anyone who wants to print colour, high quality pictures. You can do this instantly and on the move thanks to the portable nature of this pocket-sized printer. Use the HP Sprocket App to print pictures and have some fun … try the photobooth mode or hand-drawing stickers. You can also connect it with your social media accounts, so you can make prints of pictures you love. The images come out business card size, the ink is actually in the paper and you can peel off the back to stick the images on something (wall, book, desk, etc). It’s great for a party because three people can print at the same time. It comes in Luna Pearl, Noir and Blush colours. This is the perfect Christmas Gift for anyone who wants to share memories with others.
