If you find yourself in the vicinity on your way to work, you can start your day better with a buttery Croissant, an amazing Almond Croissant or a perfect Pain au Chocolate. Don’t forget your Ozone Coffee to go.
I’ve visited Pairs Baguette twice for lunch and tried two filled Baguettes. I can tell you that their baguettes are top-notch, and the choice of quality fillings makes them even better.
My first filled Baguette was Roasted Vegetables with Hummus which I opted not to be heated up. Every mouthful was a delight, and it enticed me back for more.
My second Baguette was the Goat’s Cheese with Tomato and Olives; this was excellent, and I could eat it all over again.
Other Baguette fillings include Ham with Cheese, Salmon and Cream Cheese, Chicken and Mozzarella, Chorizo and Paprika or Duck and Orange.
Or perhaps you’d prefer Pulled Pork in a Charcoal Bun, Chicken Tandoori in a Beetroot Bun or the interesting Frankfurt Sausage in a Pretzel Bun!
Lardon or Vegetable Savoury Tarts are another lunchtime option.
Or you could try the individual Quiches like the Goats Cheese, Salmon and Spinach or Quiche Lorraine.
In the afternoon, you can treat yourself to something from the Patisserie; these include Paris Brest, Chocolate and Hazelnut Tart, Religieuse, Coconut and Lime Éclair, Manguier or a Lemon Tart.
When you notice the cakes at the counter, you’ll have no choice but to try a slice. Flavours include Strawberry, Strawberry Chiffon, Blueberry Chiffon, Chocolate Chiffon and Chocolate Ganache.
Before you head off home, you should take a Baguette or Loaf of Bread with you.
