Drinks trolleys are a great idea for anyone who loves to party and enjoys a cocktail or two. If you want to keep your spirits and glasses close to hand then a bar cart is the answer. I’ve picked out my favourite drinks trolleys which are mostly on wheels but I’ve also popped in one which is stationery in case you get too dizzy from all that whirling around the room! So invite those guests, buy some nibbles and get mixing up those drinks. You’ll also find some beautiful barware at the bottom of this article. Now you’ve bought a cart, you need to treat yourself to a cocktail shaker, a couple of champagne glasses and perhaps an ice bucket. Enjoy your party!

You’ll be so pleased when the cocktail hour finally strikes and you can get this cool distressed Brass and Marble Round Trolley out. Two circular metal tubes encase two marble shelves which are ideal for storing all your glasses and liquor. This is easy to manoeuvre thanks to those four wheels. The measurements are 84cm high, 76cm wide and 56cm in depth – £325 from Rose and Grey.

The Luxe Bar Table is really cute and has been designed in-house by the Oliver Bonas team. This is another round shape with two marble topped shelves. It’s ideal for small apartments where you still want a touch of glamour. The addition of the racks for hanging your champagne and wine glasses is a genius idea. It sits upon elegant feet rather than wheels so pop it in the corner and you can use it as a plant stand when the party season ends. The measurements are 77cm high and 54cm in diameter – £280 from Oliver Bonas Ltd.
Round Gold and Marble Bar Table
I just love this super stylish Eichholtz Townhouse Trolley. The gold finished frame is curvy with a touch of Art Deco about it. The two tiers are thoughtfully topped with dark smoked tempered glass for a classy look which also gives you ample space to house all your cocktail paraphernalia. Set upon graceful castor wheels, it is easy to glide around your room full of VIP guests. The measurements are 81cm high, 70cm wide and 43cm in depth – £960 from Houseology.
Curved Gold Trolley
I’m just loving this Luxe Trolley which features a distressed gold frame in an oblong shape and incorporates handles for easy pushing of the cart. The top shelf is made from marble while the bottom shelf is toughened mirror. Set on top of gold coloured castor wheels it is great for dispensing cocktails to your thirsty guests. The measurements are 86cm high, 84cm long and 50cm in depth – £350 from Oliver Bonas Ltd.

Barware For Drinks Trolleys
Now you’ve got your swish trolley you can treat yourself to some beautiful barware. I particularly like this sleek Stelton Cylinda-Line AJ Cocktail Shaker which is made from highly polished matt stainless steel. This piece was originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1967 and looks just as amazing today as it did when it was first conceived. It’s also a thoughtful gift for your cocktail loving friends – £119 from Houseology.

This Glass Ice Bucket has an Art Deco style. With chunky handles, it is satisfyingly weighty. If you have a bar cart then you really do need an ice bucket close at hand because you don’t want to be popping back to the kitchen for your ice, ice, baby (sorry, couldn’t help the Vanilla Ice reference). You can also fit in mini bottles of wine or champagne if your fridge is too packed. When the party is over it can double up as a plant holder so is a great investment – £25 from The White Company.

These Fine Stem Champagne Coup Glasses are adorable. They have been inspired by the 1920s style but have been mouth-blown from soda lime glass and finished with a fire-polished edge. Perfect to use for celebrations of when you want to feel special and decadent – £25 for set of two from The White Company.
