Finds: wood panelled armchair

This weekend’s special is all about armchairs.  Homegirl London finds the Days Forum.  This beauty has been designed by Robin Day and is exclusive to Habitat.  It’s comes in Brown, Cream and White leather combined with an exterior panel structure either side of the arms in Ash or Walnut to provide distinctive detailing.  This design classic is simple and glamorous and would look at home in your sitting room or boudoir.   The measurements are 74cm high, 94cm wide, 83cm in depth and the seat height is 45cm.  The price is £880 and you can also buy this as a 2-seater for £1360.  It’s available from Habitat.  Robin Day was a British chartered industrial and furniture designer and one of the most influential furniture designers of the 20th century.  He found fame at the 1951 Festival of Britain where he designed the seating for the Royal Festival Hall.  Credits: text by Homegirl London, image courtesy of Habitat.
